Guided by Sweetwater
Heat builds, water answers, and the body takes the lead.
Available Now · For METTAHOUSE Guests
A private Sweetwater Sauna Ritual, available exclusively to guests staying at METTAHOUSE.
Set between mountain and sea in Glencairn, METTAHOUSE invites guests to add a guided sauna ritual to their stay. Heat, cooling, breath, scent, sound and rest transform the sauna from an amenity into an experience ~ and the stay into something felt in the body.
Already staying at METTAHOUSE? Ask your host to add a Sweetwater Sauna Ritual to your stay.
Open Gatherings · Summer Dates Coming Soon
Sweetwater will host a growing programme of open sauna retreats at selected spaces across Cape Town, including SaunaHaus and METTAHOUSE.
Each gathering will have its own intention, atmosphere and rhythm, guided through heat, cooling and sensation.
Summer dates are currently taking shape.

Sweetwater works with guest houses, retreats and wellness properties to turn the sauna into a guided experience guests remember.
Rituals may be offered as an addition to the existing guest stay, created for private groups or activated through a programme of public gatherings.
If your property has a sauna and you would like to create something more considered around it, let’s talk.
