A Way of Seeing
Sweetwater Consult is led by founder Mikaela Pace.
My way of seeing has been shaped by a lifetime of movement across places, cultures and ways of living.
Moving through the world in this way deepened my empathy and ability to understand people while working in highly personal and refined environments taught me to observe closely, adapt instinctively and understand that hospitality is felt far beyond appearance.
I notice the small things, but I am always sensing the whole.
Today, that lived hospitality experience informs the retreats, rituals and sensory experiences I create through Sweetwater, as well as the places I am invited to consider through Sweetwater Consult. I understand a place from both sides: as the person being welcomed, and as the person responsible for creating the welcome.
